Use of Tecnosicurezza software listed on this website requires a driver to be installed to operate the USB interface. With a recent (Early 2021) update to the Windows 10 operating system, the installation process listed on other pages may be blocked by Windows as a security measure. An updated version of the driver and installation process is required which is outlined on this page. Other pages will be updated in due course when software versions are next changed.

Download and unpack the file

Click the button below to access a web page where a .zip (Compressed) file with the driver package can be downloaded by clicking on the page that opens.

Locate the downloaded file and copy it to a suitable location on the C: drive.

The compressed file must be unpacked or unzipped. Locate then right click the file and select Extract all…. If the file has been supplied on a USB flash drive, copy the file to your computer and extract it (Ensuring that the location the file is extracted to is on the C: drive.

  • If it is not possible to unpack the .zip file using the Extract all… command, download suitable unpacking software such as 7-zip

Open the extracted folder and locate the file Installer.bat

Right click Installer.bat and selected Run as administrator

Allow the app to make changes to your device

A command prompt window will open, followed by a dialogue box, click Install

Allow the installation to finish.

There is a possibility that a message will show stating that conflicting versions of the driver have been found and must be removed. Click Yes to remove them. It is also possible that a message will show stating that the drivers are already up to date - in which case it is not necessary to install the driver.
