After developing their own motorbolt lock over a year ago, Tecnosicurezza now also manufacture their own deadbolt, swingbolt and latchbolt lock bodies, so they have complete control over quality, stock and pricing.

The new locks have been on trial in Italy and Spain, and will gradually be introduced into our stock over the coming months.

Installation differences

Connectors

The new locks are fitted with flat white pico-SPOX connectors instead of square black molex connectors.

Where complete lock sets are supplied, the relevant cable will be included.

We carry a stock of various cable options for engineers replacing parts, please contact us for more information.

pico-SPOX to pico-SPOX
pico-SPOX to molex
Molex to molex

Ports

The port previously labelled as ENT, used to connect the keypad, is now 1

The port previously labelled as BAT, used to connect a battery box, is now 2

Deadbolt Installation

The keypad cable can no longer be routed through the deadbolt lock body. There is a large cut-out and the cable can be routed through one of the pillars.

Operation

Operation remains the same for all locks.

Reset and setup

Due to the connector changes on the lock body, additional kit will be required to connect a reset box. This can be as simple as swapping out the cable in a reset box (Normally molex to molex ) to a molex to pico-SPOX connector. Alternatively, splitters and additional cables can be used to make a reset box setup with both connectors.

Setup software for Pulse (10 user) (Previously known as Pulse Evo) has changed. Software and procedures will be made available for engineers in due course.
